i Love Bones
DH was naughty and downloaded Bones season 3 and OMG!!!

i never saw THAT coming.

anyone else seen it. cant wait for season 4. from what i read on Wiki the first episode is set in UK

this is one of my very favorite shows for so many reasons!! i can't wait until season 4!!!!! and no, i didn't see the end of season 3 coming at all. that story line is going to continue in season 4 i have read... interesting.

HUGE fan of Bones here. There's nothing I'd rather watch on TV. I'm so excited for the new season to start! Fanfic has not been cutting it for me, especially since I have so little time to read (much less write). You can watch some of the Bones panel at Comic Con on YouTube.. interesting stuff.

Anyone think they jumped the shark with that? My reaction wasn't "wow, what a great twist", it was more like "where the heck did that come from!?"

I thought they wrapped up the main bad guy story line too quickly - but I blame that on the writer's strike and missing epis. But TBH, I knew who the "surprise" bad guy was going to be from a mile away. (I promise - you can ask my mom and dh I hate it when people say they knew it - I only mention it response to your asking whether we thought it came out of nowhere) I did have one other (far more obvious) suspect in mind also, but was pretty sure... Whether it will be the jump the shark moment - I don't know. I always worry when shows change a working formula - we'll have to see if they can adapt. (For instance, I thought I'd hate Cam, but I don't)

Man, I didn't know the season premiere was tonight!!

I LOVE Bones! I guess I'll have to what it online tomorrow if they have it up because I completely forgot to Tivo it

i don't think it is "that moment", it had a lot to do with the writer's strike and i think that the story line will continue and could offer a lot to the group dynamic. plus now new "squints" can come in, add more flavor if done right.

2 hours and counting...

Well? What did everyone think of the start to the new season? Quite a bit of it made me go : But one particular part (toward the end) made me : because the people involved were being, to me, stupid and the reasoning put forth by the writers was just unrealistic. I just can't see anyone in real life having that conversation and THAT being the sole reason they came to their conclusion.

There. Was that too vague or too obvious for those who haven't seen it yet?

Eh. I didn't care for it overall. Sort of slap-dash half assed plotting. The writing was off and the characters often didn't ring true for me.

The hubby from Fiji was hawt though. Loved him.

I was kind of surprised about the break up with Hodges and Angela. Angela's love life was probably the best story line of the two hours.

I love Bones. I hope it gets better!

I love Bones too!

I too am really shocked and kind of irritated about Angela and Hodgins. I mean who breaks ups with the love of there life so something so stupid. All sorts of people go through little jealousy and silly issues, you talk about it, grow from it and move on. But not break up. Not realistic at all!

The UK plot line was okay. A little soap opera-ish... dating someone who was really your brother.

But even with that I really liked the episode. Yea, Angie ex-husband, yummy!

I was disappointed in the finale last year. It had no real build up to that, just "here's the end of our main villain. have a nice summer." So strange. I was hoping the writers would pull it together over the summer. I'll watch the newest episode when it goes online - hope it's ok.

Digging up an old thread but is anyone still watching Bones??

I so missed watching it last night because of American Idol! I can't wait for it to be back next week!

still love this show, kinda bummed about the switch to TH nights, will have to watch it on iTunes now since everyone else is my family loves survivor (starts again in Feb) and i am the only Bones fan...

I love Bones. The circus and hockey episodes were great.
