Okay, usually this wouldn't be a problem, but it is this week. We have leftover ribs that we are not devouring. I made a new recipe from Robin Miller on Food Network, for slow cooker ribs. It was a tomato sauce based recipe, but I had to skimp on the paprika because I had an essentially empty bottle (unbeknownst to me). DH didn't love them, and I am not much of a rib eater. The ones at the bottom of the pot cooked much more tenderly, but we ate only the ones on the top of the pot originally. So, how do I finish these things? Can I remove the fat floating on the sauce and just feed the freezer with the leftover ribs and pull them out another night in the far future?
Oh, I also cubed up about 2 cups of meat from them to use on pizza at the end of last week, which we didn't end up making because of last minute social engagements. What should I do with that? Cook it longer so it's more tender and then???
