Anyone decide on HB late in pregnancy? - Page 2

One client of mine decided the day before she went into labor. Though, her cp was already a midwife who does homebirths and births at a birth center.

We have UHC as well (just changed) and while I am not at all happy with the fact that we have a $15,000 deductible now for $100 a month more than our old insurance with a $2,000 deductible, my midwife said that UHC is actually one of their best payers and that they typically reimburse them about 60%.

My friend decided at 38 weeks to have a homebirth! She needed a trip to LnD and was appalled at the treatment she received and found a midwife right away. She is thrilled with her decision and so happy she had a homebirth. Everything worked out in the end, and she was under some financial restrictions having university insurance.

If your mother instinct is really telling you that you need to do this, keep investigating your options and know that it will all work out. There's always a way!

With DS we decided at 36 weeks.

With the twins I wasn't convinced until I was in labor.
