I haven't felt him move all day...UPDATE

UPDATE!

Thank you so much ladies, I tried the icy juice and poking and prodding to no avail, so I called my mw's and met them at the hospital where we had a NST.

Everything's fine : baby's good, just really REALLY low and deep into my pelvis, and was obviously just sleepy today. The mw's were awesome. I felt so bad about ripping them away for a "false alarm" but they said I did the right thing, and that I should call any time.

Thank you again for being there, I was really freaking out!

****

I'm so worried right now. My wiggle squirm babe hasn't so much as rolled a shoulder or jammed a toe into my rib all day. Chugging ice water and laying on my side did nothing...

Erg, I hate this, am I a paranoid preggo or is there something wrong?

have you tried eating something high sugar or juice and then laying down to get movement? i would do that and if it didn't get a wiggle, i would get checked out.

Do you have a doppler or something you can check the HB with? Honestly, with no movement at all I'd call my MW immediately or go straight to the hospital. (I think you have a MW, though).

A girl on another board lost her baby the day before she was due because of a cord accident and it's made me very cautious about monitoring movement.

If you've tried everything and nothing seems, to work, I'd say go to the hospital and get checked.

call your mw right away, but have you tried OJ??!?

You should call your MW if your concerned.

I try and feel for my babes bottom or feet, after some pressing or coercing of it's positioning it usually wiggles around a bit. I didn't see when you are due but might it also be impending labor?

if you can, please give us an update. I know how worried I get when my little one has a lazy day.

Wow, I missed this but it sounded scary! I'm glad all is ok! I remember last time Maya quieting down a lot in the few days before the birth. A friend who used to teach childbirth education said this is pretty common. Better to find out for sure though if you are worried!!!

So glad everything is okay I had a freak out last night as I could not get him to move no matter what. He finally moved just as I decided I was getting up to go to the hospital.... little stinker

It's so scary isn't it? I was telling the mw, it's pretty much our only way of gaging whether or not things are ok in there, so when they stop moving, you get concerned!

thank you for the update!

It really is easy to worry; please don't feel bad. That's what the MWs are there for.
