We are about to pick up our quest for a pair of jeans again.
We have had luck at Old Navy because they sell short, regular and tall. But it seems like they are always out of the short or tall. They suggested we buy them online but their online is even out of them! AAACK. These are the only jeans that fit dd!
Apparently we had the LAST pair of Mid-rise, Diva, straight leg "flareless" jeans in a 14 short ever made. Wouldn't you know it the day after we found them the dog chewed them up.
So I have checked every ON in town.
I've got my mom checking every ON on her trip across country that she can stop at to find her a pair. That's how desperate we are. She started school with one pair of jeans. She's furious with me because I haven't bought her more. I honestly tried.
We may try Gordmans. Her suggestion. She says she found jeans there 2 years ago.
She has sort of a pear shape and short legs and is only 5'2 and 150 lbs. She read somewhere in a fashion mag that she should not wear the flare leg jeans and that's probably true but seems to be all of what's out there. She has too much junk in the truck to wear the low rise without it being indecent so they have to be mid-rise and she won't wear them at the waist.
I so want to avoid the crying as she tries on pair after pair of jeans and cries that she looks hideous, ugly, fat, etc.
Thank you for this thread and many well wishes that you all find that perfect fitting pair of jeans.
