Refrigerator odor

I have cleaned my fridge out completely. I have cleaned it carefully with vinegar, soapy water, and Bon Ami. I have removed all the foods that have any odor or are old. I have wiped every surface and drawer. I cut slits in a plastic container and filled it up with baking soda to help absorb odors. My fridge STILL has an odor.

I am at the end of my rope for getting the odor out of my fridge. I have been through my freezer and all the food is frozen solid. I wiped out every spot that could harbor "stuff."

Does anyone else have any suggestions for how I can get my fridge deodorized? I canNOT stand the smell.

Try the baking soda boxes that are vented on the sides and intended for this purpose. Otherwise I have seen stuff for 'monster odors' advertised in some of the 'green living' type catalogs

Did you wipe the bottom of the fridge, under the drawers? I used to have a fridge that leaked down the back and crud pooled down under the drawers.

Are you pregnant? My fridge WREAKED when I was pregnant, no matter how much I cleaned it. I could taste fridge in everything!

Or maybe wait a day for the odor to disappear after it smelled bad for a week. I appreciate the responses. I may have to look into one of those mega absorbers if it's a continuing problem.

It's better now. That was an interesting question, eirual. I'm not answering it yet.
