Close to Corpus...

I'm close to Corpus...40 min drive to Kingsville. We take a trip at least 1-2 X monthly since there are WAY more resources there compared to Kingsville. I even gave birth in Corpus

I saw a post there was a momma or 2 interested in getting together...I would possibly be interested...

Where is Taiwan Family??? We love to go to Yen Ching (or Young's Pizza) when we visit my inlaws in Kingsville. I'm friends with Heather (posted above) and my DH and her DH were best friends in grade school.

We are in SA, but travel to Corpus (where my parents live) and to Kingsville (to see inlaws) alot.

Hey! I'm out on Padre Island. Just returned here literally this weekend after spending a year in the Houston area. Glad to be back.

I'm in Corpus too. Just moved here in May. Anyone know of fun things to do with a toddler in the area? We're kind of struggling. We went to the aquarium, took him on a boat ride and now we're out of ideas.

No way! I grew up in Rockport and most of my family is still there. How long have you lived there?

Hi!

Also in Rockport. Until we evacuate later today.

Hi, Rockport Midwife! Glad to see you joined us!

When we get back I'd be interested in a playgroup-type thing. There used to be one in CC of LLL mamas. Lost track of them, but they may still be getting together.

My 2.5 DS is laughing in his sleep. How cute!

Be safe Rockportmama. I may be right behind you as I am on Padre Island and will probably fall under mandatory evacuations by midday tomorrow.

Well, we have not evacuated, but we might stay with friends in CC if they turn our water off!

You still around rockportmama. They were supposed to turn off all utilities today. My boyfriend works with the Navigation District and they had a meeting around 11am yesterday. They decided that since the storm is turning towards Galveston to leave them on at this point. We were going to leave, but it looks like we are staying now.
