what to do with 6yrd long woven wool fabric?

Hi,
I have a 6yrd long and 34'' wide lama wool fabric hand woven in Guatemala. The colorway is not my taste and it's too long and too narrow. I can't think of any use for this. Do you think I can cut it and hem it? I don't know how hard it would be to hem it. Can you think of any? I'm not so crafty so I would just love to sell it. Thanks so much!

I would use it as a wrap baby carrier... that's the perfect size.
Or if you want to sell it, sell it. Like I said, it's the perfect size for a carrier wrap, and ebay would be a great place for a one-of-a-kind item like that.

I personally wouldn't cut it up since it is handwoven and I can think of a use for it... I wouldn't want to "ruin" it.

Now, that being said, it definately can be cut and hemmed. If it's a loose weave, put masking tape on either side of the cut-line before you cut it. That way it won't fray or completely fall apart from the time you cut it to the time you hem it.
HTH.

I would just sell it, either on the Trading Post or ebay...

I think it's too thick, heavy and not stretchy enough for a baby carrier. And it's hard to wash as it is thick wool. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I can't find the trading post. Has it changed to Swap? Thanks.
