Anyone else up?

Hubby's off to sleep and ds has been out for over an hour... I already napped so I'm not tired just yet. My MIL started going insane with questions earlier about what are we gonna do if this or that happens.. we are planning a uc and told her about it long ago but now she's got all kinds of questions now.... Anyways that was stressful cause I felt like I had to once again defend my stance, I'm so tired of having to be in defensive mode all the time, I was so close to telling her to just shut it. lol I've had no prelabor signs at all and throughout this pregnancy only had two episodes of contractions, it wasnt painful either time and the second time wasnt very long at all. Oh when will this child come out??? I know a lot of you women are sick of the prodrominal labor or the start then stop but at least you know your body is preparing itself. I feel like a ticking time bomb, I'm gonna pop at any moment and I will have no warning signs... either that or I will actually be the first woman to be pregnant forever. lol
Anyways, whats new with you?

I'm awake too... not unusual for me because I woke up (for the final time) at 4pm today.

How many more times in my life will I be able to do that?

I've had signs but they've all been fake-outs. I had prodromal labor once but only for a day and that was a month ago. Go figure.

Fake outs are frustrating but I can imagine it's worse to have nothing at all going on, esp being past a due date.

*sigh* It's so lonely at night.

It is lonely at night... there were a lot more mommas on here to complain with but they've had their little ones and are passed out from exhaustion.. lucky ladies.

So Nicole are you having a boy or girl? Got a name picked out?

I am up. Having regular contractions. Hoping to get some shut eye if this is the real thing. I have to wait until the tylenol kicks in so my legs will stop hurting...

This indigestion is killing me. I want to so badly eat ...yet all I can eat is like cheese, yogurt...cereal...milk.

I go by Nik.. Not that I really care, it just feels weird to be called Nicole.

We're going to name this girl Evelynn. If we have a surprise boy he'll be named Henrik. I say that because my mom was told from her ultrasound that I was going to be a boy and I wasn't (granted that was 22 years ago but still), so naturally I don't trust the ultrasound 100%! What about you?

I really feel like half the mamas have gone already!! I can't believe it. We're so flooded with birth announcements that the daily thread usually sinks to the bottom of the page so quickly... and it practically happened overnight!

I'm still up because I'm worried about the baby's position. I know she CAN be LOA, so I do everything I can to make sure she stays there but she is a big stinker. I got out of bed because I started feeling kicks on the left side of my belly which means she probably went posterior so I get on my hands and knees for a while hoping she'll flip back around.

But then, of course she stops moving and I have no idea what position she's in and I get all worried about it. I don't know why I worry about it so much... I guess because when I had that prodromal labor back in July, she engaged very deep (zero station) but then after a while I guess she figured out she had room to move and she disengaged. I'm afraid I wont go into labor unless she engages again... that must be why I'm so actively trying to get her in a good position.

I haven't reclined or put my feet up in over a week now and I spend most of the day on my knees. It's really getting old.

Sorry about the book!

Heeyyy! Sleepy vibes for you :, I'll start sending some labor vibes in about 8 hours if that's good with you.

We are naming our little girl Seraphim Surrette. And if she is a surprise boy... his name would be Joshua...

So Nik, do you have any other munchkins or is this your first? I've got a 4 yo son who is anxiously awaiting the arrival of his sister. Everytime he sees that I'm gonna take a bath he's asking if shes coming now. I wish! lol I told him the other day to tell her she can come out now so he puts his mouth right on my belly button and says "hillo... you can come out now..." So cute! Then he places both hands on my tummy and shakes her about...

So aside from today and RIGHT NOW is there any day in particular you hope to have your baby on? I'd really like it to be today but I'll settle for any day by the end of this week. lol As if I have a choice.

I was having some cramps this morning but that was only for about 15 min. nothing since. This girl loves the transverse position and is pretty much there all the time. I dont really do anything to try and get her to change position, she does it when I lay in bed and now I've noticed when I take a bath. I will definitely be getting on all fours when I am in labor though, of course the keyword here is WHEN... lol
