What are the laws in NC regarding pumping at work?

I have three friends who are WOHMs who all pump for their babes. Their workplace took their pumping room away due to the complaint of one person and told them they had to do it in the bathroom stall (which does not have an outlet, btw). The facilities department said they'd look into putting a plug-in in the stall "at some point." There are several conferene rooms available for pumping but these were not offered as an alternative. One of the three may resign over this.

Are there any laws being broken in this situation or is it just morally reprehensible?

There are no laws with regards to pumping in NC. Would your friends mind sharing their employer's information with www.firstright.org? A phone call may be a big help. There can be education with regards to the benefits to mother and baby as well as the employers.
