I saw a neat page in a mag. it will be a close up pic of PJ @ 17 months, under it will be a section on " my words" everything he says, then at play, here is the trickey part.. PJ loves to play tea party with Cathryn, can you think of a "manly" way I can word that????? my mom says just saying tea party, seems too girly for a boy is it?

I think tea party is perfectly acceptable. I don't think it's unmanly to learn manners and practice the social graces at a tea party. But you might want to tell your mother that there's nothing unmanly about consuming eats and drinkables.

I'd say tea party too. Wasn't Alice the only girl at the Mad Hatter's tea party? Men drink tea all the time!

You coudl say he's practising his skills at being a future gourmand and diplomat. But I let my little man wear his red sparkle tap shoes to preschool so my advice is dubious at best.

sorry if I'm a little late to "the party" as it were... popping my head in for the 1st time here, anyway...
you might consider just leaving out the word "party," British style... as in "PJ & Cathryn love to sit down to tea together"... or you "PJ joins Cathryn for a spot of tea"
I think it's precious that they play together & quite manly!
