cmoma, I am the same, three days and its over, I've never been that short, maybe I will test in a few days, but I don't want to assume and get my hopes up. Shonahsmom, please do let me know what is happening.

When I was pg with ds, I tested on 16dpo (I temped/charted) and 18dpo and got negs. I didn't get a pos until 20dpo, and it was very light.

That said, there was one other time that I didn't have af by 15dpo, and that was when I had an ovarian cyst. It's a relatively harmless thing, and most women don't even know they have it. But af was something like 2 weeks late that cycle (and I know when I o'ed).

I'm not sure. Would a midwife be willing to do that this early on (I don't have any kind of doctor, just a MW)? I feel like they'll probably tell me to wait a few.

Yeah, probably. I would ask though and see what she recommends. Maybe at least knowing WHEN she'd test you will put your mind at ease a bit?

Oh - and BTW - I've done searching of charts of women in FF and there are some ladies who get some pretty late BFPs! Even w/ multiples! So don't lose hope yet!!

This happened to me! I took POAS like 10X and NEVER got a positive, it wasn't until after an 'inconclusive qualitative hcg' that i got a confirming quantitative at 8wks! Then they said I was miscarrying based on my last period!!! My DD's eggy must have been just floating around my uterus for longer than the standard lp!

Well, I think here's my plan. I am going to shelve it mentally and emotionally (as best I can) until Sunday. If I still haven't gotten my period by then, I'll test again. If it's negative, I'll call my MW on Monday morning. So, you all aren't going to hear from me again on the TTC forum until Sunday or Monday. Unless I start my period before then.

P.S. I'm typing this through a wave of nausea.

last month i didn't get a positive until like 16dpo. unfortunately, that ended in m/c, but i've heard of it going the other way too! good luck!

So I lied. Only because DH came home yesterday with 3 packs of FRER.

Tested again this morning. Still negative, still no period.

Gah! That's hilarious. Did you tell him he was an enabler I hope you are really pg--your mom's story is encouraging. What's the longest period you've had before?

I know, right? I was all, "Well, even those all of those tests are sitting right there, I'm still going to wait until Sunday to test again." That lasted all of 30 minutes.

My longest evah was 41 days. That happened once in two years... so it is possible that it's just a wonky cycle, but then again, the last time it happened I was very actively and effectively avoiding conception.. Bah! Who freaking knows?

30 minutes, huh? That's better than I would have done So maybe you just had something stressful THEN (back in the month of the 41 days), and now you are just pg. Let's hope so.
