I need help using all my veggies
Ok, I'm wanting to get in this habit of planning ahead...
last night I ate a cinnamon roll and fresh green beans until my eyes popped out
I have a veggie share from a csa so I need to get off my butt and use it better
I have some bell & sweet peppers, does anyone have a good recipe for stuffing them w/o meat & anything spicy? I have basmati rice, fresh sweet corn, yellow taxi tomatoes & some other heirlooms, kohlrabi, summer squash, fresh onions and garlic...mostly looking for what to add to the veggies to give some flavor
I have fresh basil, rosemary, dill, chives, oregano
dried sage, cardamom, cilantro, cinnamon, paprika, umm, nutmeg, allspice, thyme, ginger, cloves, acefeda (sp?) from india (I love super hot indian & ethiopian food - miss it!)Oh! and we always have fresh eggs from our chickens
I've always been a recipe book kind of girl, but I'm feeding
ds - no sugar, very picky
dd - no wheat, popcorn, most dairy - thank goodness for colby & jack cheese!
DP-Crohn's his veggies have to be way over cooked, nothing dry or hard to swallow, no spicy stuff, but he can eat garlic and loves it.
