Has anyone seen Narnia 2? Do any animals die in this one? My dd hates anything where animals are hurt and especially die.

My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I wouldn't recommend it for young children. It's quite dark and violent; I was surprised by just how gritty it was compared to the first film.
I don't remember any animals explicitly dying onscreen, though they may have; but there was a definite implication that many did (battle scenes, after all). There was also a scene where a bunch of Talking Beasts, Centaurs etc got doomily trapped in a courtyard; if your DD's eight or so, she's probably old enough to pick up on the implication that they all get killed.
There are also some scary scenes involving a werewolf and a 'black magic'-type ritual. Plus, of course, plenty of danger/suspense scenes.
My four-month-old baby didn't mind it, but she spent most of the film having the milks.
I did recommend to my mother that my (sensitive) 9-year-old sister not see it.
Sorry!
