Funny story from shopping today

I was grocery shopping with my mom today. Baby was in the sling and he started crying. I started to move him around to nurse him and he started crying a bit harder.
An elderly lady behind me asked what the matter was.. I told her he was hungry,
and she replied...

"well you better whip it out then mama!"

I was floored.. and excited

That reminds me of when I took DS to the senior center with my grandma to show him off! I had alot of the ladies ask if I was nursing and I told them yes and got replies like:

Its nice to see moms doing what they ought too!

When I was younger I leaked like a jersy cow.

and one woman told me of how see nursed one of her neighbors kids because the woman had to go back to work.

I thought it was cute!

the ladies at my stitch-n-bitch group told a pregnant me that all i had to remember was, "when in doubt, whip it out!" they were pretty sure that was a main tenet of LLL.
