Why is this happening at 6 weeks?

Hemorrhoids! Why? Why? Why? I don't get it. I'm regular. Not constipated by pregnancy. Not straining. Anyone with clue, please feel free to share.

With dd, I got them around 14 weeks.

I don't think I've even gained anything yet.

I do have a posterior uterus, but, how could it be putting that much pressure on the veins back there at 6 weeks?

They weren't there yesterday morning. And then, BAM! They're here today, and to stay for the next 34 plus weeks as it takes time after birthing for them to go away.

Sucks.

I didn't have hemorrhoids or m/s with DD so I'm probably going to get slammed this time around.

I think I know why they're happening now. I just did a little search and found that an increase in the hormone progesterone relaxes the veins. I guess what I started 2 nights ago? Progesterone cream. Lovely. At least they don't bother me at all. And didn't last time, so, I hope that remains true throughout this pregnancy.
