School Almost Here - Any Summer Plans You Didn't Get To/Finish

Can't believe school is a week away. Where in the world did the summer go? One thing we did plan on doing was the reading program at our local library. We did start it, but haven't completed. My dd was just so busy at summer camp, by the time she came home, she was just too pooped. I have to say it was a fabulous camp and she learned so much though.

I was also planning on getting ten books read this summer, redoing my bedroom and my dd's bedroom. Oh well, I guess there will be the weekends.

Our vacation to Banff-Jasper never happened, not sure what happened with that.

We have 2 weeks left & I have a long list of things to the house that I want to get done by then. The girls are gone for about a week so I can get some of it done, but it won't all get done.

I wanted to put up a zip line and never got around to it. We already raised the funds with a yard sale and everything.

Also wanted to paint DS's room.

We meant to go to the beach one more time, hit a "Wild Child" exhibit at the local arboretum, and I was going to paint the basement. We are going on vacation next week, and then school starts Tuesday. Boy, the summer flew.

We have two weeks left of summer vacation. I thought I would have fit in a lot more day trips - zoos, museums, etc. But we didn't do a one. Our main priorities were camping, guitar & swim lessons for my older two, learning to write letters & numbers for my 4 year old, and just overall enjoying our time together. We definately have done that! :
