Last night, DS was walking around the house completely naked since we're working on potty training (his choice, not ours). He was having a good time exploring his parts which are normally covered and then started patting himself on the heiney. Without warning, he accidentally smacked himself a bit TOO hard on the butt and started crying, running straight to me for some "ninny".
DH and I were doing everything we could to stifle our laughter and administer genuine sympathy to our wee man, but to realize that is the only spanking he'll ever receive through childhood made it somehow hilarious to us that he did it to himself. I guess when people ask if we spank, we can say, "Well, no, he administers his own spankings." That should thoroughly confuse them
