I had all my stuff moved over at the Apple Store, but I think there is something like Migration Assistant that can help you do it.

Did they charge you for moving your stuff to your new computer? I think all I want to move is my itunes songs. The nearest apple store to me is a 3 hour drive.yikes! Maybe more not sure.

Oh, mine is across the street from my work. 3 hours is far... Check the Apple Forums for how to move iTunes songs, that should have a tutorial.

I bought the book "Switching To The Mac" by David Pogue. It was so helpful! It had a step-by-step tutorial on how to move your info from the PC to the Mac. I did it with a Ethernet cord, because I was too cheap to pay someone to do it for me. It took a few hours to move all my photos and music, but it worked great.

That was my next question. Do I need a book? hehe You read my mind. I was looking at that book on amazon and wondering if I should order it or not. I think I will go order it now.When you say you moved music,did you move your itunes library? That is the only thing I really want to move and since the nearest apple store is so far away,I'm going to try and do that myself. So it tells you how to move itunes songs in the book?

Yes, the books tells how to move your iTunes library (as well as everything else.) It's very simple - just drag everything in the Windows My Music folder into the Home/Music folder on the Mac. As I said, it took hours because I had a lot of music, but it was foolproof.

I kept the "Switching To The Mac" book on my lap for a couple of weeks, LOL! It has so many useful tips.
