Any unschoolers in NW CT or SW Mass

Hi. I am homeschooling a six year old and four year old, and we are loving it! I would like to find a few others, though for field trips, social activities and such. We are very flexible with our schooll schedule--especially since I had another baby in December--and not too formal about things. Basicallly I follow the kids' interests and we have a lot of fun and they are learning "the basics" just fine as we go. I would like yo do more outdoor stuff with them.Anyone interested? If there are a few families, maybe we could organize a loose group of some kind....

THANK YOU!!! My computer seems to have been secretly programmed to drive me insane and tends to crash whenever I try to search, so your list will help me circumvent that. THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Homeschooling Mom

Hi Zina,

I have a group for homeschooled children of pre-school age. We meet to play and socialize, trade curriculum ideas and go on age appropriate field trips. We are always looking for new members.

Write back if you are interested.

Oh, this is so good to know. We are hoping to move back to CT soon-- although I don't know if we will be too far. We are thinking the Avon area...

We are currently homeschooling/unschooling two boys-- ages 2 and a 1/2 and 5.

thankyou for the homeschool support lists. This will be very helpful and hopefully we can all meet up someday

I'm in NY, but I'm actually not that far. I'm in Chatham, which is less than 1/2 an hour from Great Barrington, Mass, and less than an hour from Canaan, CT. There are plenty of homeschoolers around here, but it's always fun to meet new people.

I don't drive yet, but I hope to have my license within the month.

I have a 5 1/2 year old and a 3 1/2 year old, both girls.
