Birth pool accesories needed

Hi ladies...I have another request
Money is just SO darn tight right now due to some screw ups on the Armys side of things so im in need of trying to keep my home water birth to extreem low costs.
A VERY kind lady has offered to let me borrow her ocean reef pool for the birth (God bless her) but she doesnt have any of the accesories like a pump to drain it with, or liner....is there anyone out there that has these around that I could use please, id return the pump in good working order but the liner of coarse would not be returned
I would be FOREVER grateful to anyone who can help me out here!
This is everything I think I will be needing
1. pump for draining water out of pool
2. disposable pool liner
3. hose for filling the pool and adaptor for kitchen or bathroom faucet
4. tarp for laying underneath pool to protect flooring in case of spills and drips.

A HUGE thanks to ANYONE who can help with any or all of these items!

Liz
im located in the Wheaton/Silver springs area 20902

It will probably be hard to come up with someone who has a custom liner, but one of the midwives local to me just uses plastic tarp as a liner and it works fine.

You can also get a $4 part at a store that sells aquarium supplies to hook to the faucet and act both as an adapter for filling and a siphon to drain it. Sometimes these are sold as "python" adapters.

Hope you get a good response for the rest of it!

So if I go to the pet store and ask for a python adaptor they will know what im talking about, because I have no clue what it would look like or where in the store it would be and with 2 rowdy kids, I dread going shopping for things that I dont know where they are!

Read the Birth Pool Resources sticky thread in the Homebirth forum. It has online sources to order from: liner ($22) or you can get the Python pump ($5), adapter ($2) and hose ($10) at any aquarium store or Petsmart or Petco.

When are you due? All of my stuff is in storage, but I should have it out mid to late September and you are welcome to borrow anything. I have all of that stuff except the liner - I didn't use one. I have Le Bassine (sp) if you'd like to use it too. I loved it!
