Sorry I haven't been back since my last post. I did test (negative ) in the morning (6:00--I just couldn't wait any more!) on a Saturday after my post, then around 10 a.m. AF found me. What a waste of a rather expensive test! (no dollar stores here!)

Thanks so much for asking. I'm hoping to hang out here a little more now that some other aspects of my life have slowed back down a bit. Who knows.

socalmommy, you are everywhere. LOL...The only reason I notice is because we are cycle buddies and for some reason that's really neat to me.

You've gone UC before or will this be your first time?

Yes, of course... Does an Unexpected UC count?: I had a midwife with my second but she missed the birth by about 5 minutes!!! So, it was just my dh and me, and then there were three!!! I pulled my dd out of the water myself and she didn't cry... just looked at me and we cuddled up for a very first face to face visit...

when we get pregnant it will be our 1st UC. After having a not so pleasant hospital birth with my son i realized i could easily do it at home and be able to eat, i did semi okay with refusing the iv until he was born and by then i hadn't eaten in 24hours and my heart rate shot up and they ended up giving me something thought the heplock i was told i had to have because i refused the iv. Add in i left when he was 6hours old AMA i was no about to share a very very tiny bathroom and room with another women for $200 co pay: they tried to scare monger me into staying

I've had one and a half UC's. I had pre-eclampsia with my son and had him ALONE in the hospital room with just DH and me. We told them before we even checked in we were leaving after I gave birth. She asked us to stay 4 hours, so we did. Then we were gone, but she signed us out. Told us to call if we needed anything. The NURSES were NOT happy with us leaving.

You'll do fine. It's not hard! LOL

I was shocked how well i did with my son's birth i did it with no epidural* with my daughters birth i caved and had a epidural so it was my main goal with his birth to go without it*, i was even holding on a phone conversation and walking around at 8cm. So i know i could do it at home.

Also, I'm still waiting. It's so hard. I am working to lose just about 7 more lbs., which I REALLY hope will line up with my next O (in about 26 days) and then.... TTC! We've been married 5.5 yrs and have been waiting and waiting to TTC. I can barely wait, and it about killed me when I finally got my thermometer last week and realized that I was ovulating, but not DTD. Ahhh! I really want to be a mother and this waiting business is for the birds. And I'm hungry. But I'm not going to get PG before I get to my "ideal" weight. So the key now is to feel hungry and think "hungry tummy=baby sooner." :

Anyone else waiting another month to truly TTC? I'd love to know I'm not alone in the yuckiness of this wait.

So maybe my writing didn't make my bump less boring. Maybe it's more boring. But I feel better. Thanks! :

Hi ladies! Mind if I join? I am the mama to two sweet, sweet boys, 5 and 2. My first was born in water at home, with a midwife and my second was also at home, unassisted (we had planned a midwife attended birth, but he came in less than 45 min!). So, we are definitely planning to go unassisted for our next baby. We've been trying since the beginning of the year and I've had 2 m/c. I tend to get pregnant easily, just have a hard time keeping them (5 total losses, all between 4 and 5 weeks). So, hoping the next will be the sticky one.....I *think* I am about 5 dpo now, but this cycle could be off as I just m/c April 27th and my signs have been off. Good luck to you all trying and I look forward to getting to know you!

I'm so sorry to hear about your lost babies. That would be very hard; we've never *tried* yet, so that's one of my concerns.

My DH says that he's not going to get excited right away b/c it's so easy to lose babies when they're so teeny-tiny. But I reminded him that people lose babies at all stages of pregnancy, at birth, of SIDS, and even my grandfather lost his child (my father, a year & 1/2 ago or so) and felt it deeply. He thought it was a good point, and I'm sure that I won't be able to avoid feeling super happy if we're blessed with a little one and (if it happens) super sad if he dies at any point before I do!

Anyway, I'm just past O, too... let me check my fertility friend... about 5 days, too. (Long story short, I just started temp-ing again recently, in the middle of this cycle, and this is my best guess.) Wow! That's fun to be on the same schedule as someone. This could come in pretty handy when I'm in the TWW next month! : If you're not a month ahead of me then! *wink*

Do you have your birth stories posted anywhere? I'd love to read about your experiences...

Thanks for the warm welcome, SandiMae! I'm glad to have found you all! Yes, the losses have been hard but it does get easier. Especially having 2 little ones already. I don't have my stories posted yet, but they are on the computer, so easy to cut and paste....is there a particular spot I should post them? How exciting for you to be ttc your first! It is such an incredibly magical time. Unfortunately after our next, my dh says he's done, which I suppose I can understand....I just don't want this time of my life to be over yet!!!

I don't know exactly where you might want to post your stories-there is a forum for birth stories, but I haven't done much lurking over there recently. I think they have labels for the "type" of birth and then you can add your story under the appropriate heading.

Yes, I'm super excited to TTC. Fertilty Friend says I'm probably fertile today. Hmmm. I'm not so sure. And I'm not at that weight yet where we're going to try (or "take a chance" as DH says!). These last 5 lbs. or 7 lbs. are so stubborn and I'm really ready for them to simply vanish. Alas, I like to eat chocolate frosting too much.

Anyway, my cm was much more 'fertile' just before I started temping and isn't now. So I think the temps are just being tricksy (like Gollum in Lord of the Rings) to fertility friend. Hope that's not TMI, but I figure that's what this place is all about. Gotta share it somewhere and in my Spanish class just isn't the place.

Well, I tested this morning, because I started gagging while brushing my teeth, and it is a BFP!!! With all of my early losses (5 total) it is hard to get excited yet. The line was nice and dark though, which feels more promising....please let this one stick!!

I did do a couple of things different this cycle - started a super b complex, added an extra 800mg of folic acid and am taking a baby aspirin daily. These are all things I've read that can help with repeat chemical pregnancies. We'll see!

I will not be fertile at that time, but plan to be open and thinking baby sticky thoughts. I think I should be on cycle day 1 in the coming days.
