Congrats mtnmoonmama:::

Hesperia~ Good luck to you hope you get a bfp soon and don't have to try long.

Hi Hesperia!

Not sure if you've had a chance to read about me yet, but my footer pretty much says it all. I'm on day 9 of this cycle and will be skipping the BD this cycle. Which will be a bummer. I am working on getting to my "ideal" weight before TTC, and I keep hoping for "next month" but chocolate is really my 2nd best friend (after DH). That's a problem. Because it has crazy amounts of calories when I eat a lot of it! But seriously, maybe next month. :

Welcome to "hoping to start TTC soon and hoping for a UC after that"!

I'll say we're TTC. We UCed with our first who will be 16 months this week. My fertility has slowly been coming back. My periods returned at 5.5 months post partum. I first ovulated around her 1 year birthday. My luteal phases are slowly getting longer- last month I made it to day 10, but then my period came that afternoon!

I ovulated early this month, so I'm thinking I'll have a longer luteal phase- and perhaps I'll get pregnant!

I'm very very sorry to hear this news. Be gentle with yourself and smooth healing.

Just a little hello, I had forgotten this thread was alive...lets keep it that way!

How many of us are here TTC (or soon) with the intentions of UC?

We are in our TWW, had some negative results, but still early. I'm trying not to stress at all, just take it as it comes.

This one morning, I woke up from a lovely sleep and just KNEW that his sperm has met my egg. I could distinctly feel the power of it. I was so aware, and also felt very strongly that it was male energy. I'd be a little sad this cycle if we aren't pregnant, because I know in my heart that there is/was a connection between us....and that it just didn't implant, or something else.

I had a dream last night that I was getting an ultrasound on my ovaries and the tech said, that yes, I did ovulate on the right side and the sperm found it (that was the side I felt the power in) but also from the left ovary! He said he couldn't tell if it was fertilized or not. Which might explain why I had some EWCM at CD 8&9 (this is rare for me, very rare) and then again later in the cycle at 14-16 days.

Just thought I'd share that with you all! We are looking forward to this journey, and journey it is proving to be!

Hello TopHat!

I'm very happy that we are also in connection on twitter You are the first person I know that UC's from MDC on twitter!

Very pleased to have 'met' you. :

I'm ttc#3 with the intention of having a UC. I wished i had pushed the issue more when i was pregnant with my son. His birth was in a bad hospital that i left AMA when he was 6hours old, and didn't even pay my copay on the way out lol they wanted a $200 co pay to stay in a crackerjack box shared room with a even smaller bathroom:

We are till TTC...I'm not sure if my cycles are still messed up from bf'ing DS2 who is 14 months old now or if it's the same stuff I was dealing with before having DS1 even. There's a good reason behind all of this, I just can't see it right now It'll be clear eventually, in the meantime it's difficult to not get impatient.

I do have a good feeling about this month though!

I'm still not sure if we'll UC again or not. I would really like to, but I also want prenatal care from my midwives but I'm not sure if it'll be possible if I want to UC. All the legal implications and such...
Plus DH would still like *someone* to be here. So we'll see...

Wow, I posted back in Feb that we'd by trying "within the next 2 cycles." Well, THAT didn't happen...

But we are now! I am so excited. And still leaning toward UC, unless we find a great midwife -- which is unlikely. They're kind of sparse around here.

Hi ladies,

So I'm back... still waiting to shed my last 3-4 lbs. before TTC. But seriously, it really shouldn't take long. DH says he thinks I can be ready by my next ovulation, which should be in about 26 days! Yippee! It's so crazy to be losing the weight now, but it's a promise and also something I know I'll be happy for. I sure have enjoyed the smaller clothes and cute styles so far!

Still planning for a UC in Latin America. Sort of sad, though, since I was originally hoping to give birth in this country before Jan. when we move to the next, then have a second little one in our next country. Just for fun, you know? To give birth in 2 countries? I don't know, maybe it's just some strange 'romantic' idea....

Anyway, I'll be back here more hopefully soon, and wanted to say hi to you all. Welcome back APBTlover--I hope that you have success soon. As they say here, "You'd better practice. Go work on that."

Hugs!!

I'm still TTC here as well. Still doing the no stress and no test.

Hesperia ~ I wish i could have the will power for no testing.

I'm still out here.

But it seems it's not up to my body; we're just waiting for hubby's body to respond to the drugs for the prolactinoma we finally discovered. With a testosterone level of 35 (test goes down as prolactin goes up), it's likely not going to happen soon (though his SA showed some viable little dudes, which made his endo nearly faint, LOL).

It's funny that we (hubby and I) are so anti-medical-assistance, but we do need the assistance to get hubby's hormones back to normal. Odd. Then again, we are definitely the bosses of the endocrinologist; he wouldn't have discovered this problem if we hadn't FORCED him to test for hormones. Hubby has been asking MDs and NDs to test his hormone levels for 3 years, and they all refused (b/c I'm 2.5 years older so it's the old wife's "fault" according to them, without ever meeting me) until this guy. Thank goodness he did it!

Still here as well, just started the no-stress part of things - I've stopped temping, altogether. and the no-test bit is easy, as AF rarely keeps me waiting.
