My DS is (very ironically I must say) turning 30 months just days before I turn 30 years old. We were across the street playing with their DD who is his BFF and is just 3 mo younger.
Their DD has gotten my DS into dolls, which I love. Their DD went to bottle feed her doll (as she was, not a drop of BM for her) and my DS sat down with her and gently removed the bottle from her hand and said "J", "don't you know that it's best for babies to eat "other" (his word for momma milk, as in...are you ready to switch to the other?? It just stuck) He sat there are counseled her on how much nicer "other" is because you get to cuddle with mommas and you usually get a good book reading out of it. Not only that, he says "and if I get a boo boo "other" makes it better.
I didn't know wheteher to laugh or cry from such complete pride. The situation ended with my DS nursing her doll and giving the doll back to their DD for the promised snuggle and book. What a peaceful night we had.
