Does anyone have any theories about determining how baby is facing by how they are moving? My doc said that this one is probably head down because the heartbeat was low and she thought she could feel a head down there and a butt up high but I know that he/she could still move around. I feel A LOT of movement and am just wondering if I can look for things to tell me if dc has moved facing my back or not also....

Basically, kicks tell you where the feet are, bulges are the head or butt, a large smooth area is a back.

It's really really rare for vertex babies to switch to breech.

It's also no biggie if baby is posterior- most will switch in labor... my LO is 'sunny side up' right now.
