can you change your username?

Can you ever change your username? I'm due with baby #3 in october, and my username won't reflect my 3rd child. Are we allowed to change username if there is a change in family status? If so, how do you find out if the new names you're considering are available?

so, I posted a few weeks ago about changing my username -- but I don't have access to a pay pal account, so I read (and followed) the direction to use my credit card instead, and I bought some "package" for 4 dollars, but I remember it included the ability to change my user name....now I can't remember how to do it.
any suggestions?

The Supporting Memberships allow you to change the title under your username, but not your actual username. You would need to follow the Username & Titles link (way at the very top right of the page) to change your username. Sorry about the confusion!

at the top right hand of the page....not sure which one is the link you're talking about.

So, I paid $4 to have that squiggly design below my name, and my (beautiful) daughter as my avatar?

Yes, you can pay without Paypal. There are a few ways :

Within the envelope place a note that includes what you are paying for, your username and your actual name and email address. If you are placing DDDDCs then you need not list the desired titles and member names. You will be contacted for that information.

To call in an order call the Mothering office number 505-984-8116 and press 4 to speak to Shirl. She will take your information and order and contact us to fulfill it. Again, if you place DDDDC's you should not give her the title and users info but just give your username and email address and we'll get the info from you for placement of the titles or activating the subscription you desire.

These forms of payment can be made during normal business hours, which are Mon-Fri from 9AM to 5PM MST.

• You can pay with your credit card via Paypal without having a Paypal account, if you want to go that route. If you go to the Premium Memberships page, choose the item you want for the time period you want it, then click the Order Using Paypal button, it will take you to a PayPal page. On the left is where you login. On the right is the option: "Don't have a PayPal Account? Use your credit card or bank account (where available)." Click there and follow the instructions.
