Tie dye Bravado tank?

Okay, so I'm a HUGE Bravado fan (I really should start selling them or something) and I pretty much wear their tanks every day. : I have a white one, and I think I am just not in a place in my life right now to own and wear an expensive white shirt, you know?

I know that nestmom.com has tie dyed Bravado bras, which are 92% cotton and 8% spandex. The tanks are 90% cotton and 10% spandex, but the straps and trim are made of something shiny, I don't know exactly what. I'm afraid to try tie dying this shirt, but I think it's just a matter of time before I ruin this beautiful white shirt.

Do you think this would work? Has anyone tried this? Thanks.

The tank is either 90% cotton or 92% cotton- which should dye just fine. And if the straps and trim don't take the dye as well and end up lighter? That would look really cool too!

Yay, great! Now I just need to learn to tie dye... or find a WAHM who I can hire to do it!

I did it! It's fabulous!

So, I just got a really simple tie-dying kit from the big box crafts store and went for it. It turned out fantastic! It makes me want to stalk ebay for stained white ones to make more!

Pics will be forthcoming...
