Figured I would start the thread of the new moon ;D. That and I am up late and I have to get up at 7am to page my doctor! ugh!! It's 2:11 here already, I hope he doesn't plan on inducing me after only 5 hours of sleep. With that said I am off to bed. Hoping every bodies labors get started sometime today!!

Good luck!

It's Saturday here (Japan) and nothing is happening with my body. I have decided she'll stay in until she's good and ready, which seems to be longer than her sister (who came out at 38.5 weeks). DH's grandma is visiting and insists I'm in labor... or that I should be induced despite there being NO medical reason *headdesk*. That woman.. whew.

Hope everyone else is feelin ok!

Good morning Mamas,

My baby has decided to be a wiggler here at the end of pg. It's been a laid back little one for the most part but now in the evenings it's rolling around from LOA to ROA and then the occasional posterior position (which makes me freak out a bit). Otherwise we're both doing well. I am trying to be very mindful of everything knowing that life will be all topsy turvy here in a week or so. It was a good week. . .

Good luck to you Ayame!

Good luck Ayame!

Today I am 39 weeks!

My knees are killing me. Every time I stand up, I get these pains in them. I can't wait till all my parts harden back up PP.

We have a super busy day today! ugh. 3 really important milestone parties. We will just make the polite appearance at each, I think.

Still here. I think I contracted throughout the night because everytime I woke up to pee I was having one. Still having them this morning but am not truly timing them because it's going to drive me mad. Went for a walk and am sitting at the computer on my yoga ball. Who knows what's going on ... who knows.

Well my contractions are 3 minutes apart and are starting to get closer and closer, havent checked myself since 4AM but I will again when the contractions get to about 1 min apart, baby doesnt seem to like them, she wriggles around after each one like she's trying to get away... I'm excited she is gonna be here very soon, maybe she will come at 8:16 this morning for her 8/16/08 b-date...

TMI, loose bowels here--but then I also put a ton of garlic in my dinner last night.

Oh, and yesterday afternoon some time my belly button finally popped out. Feels so silly-weird that I keep rubbing my front.

Loose bowels here too the last few days but I am trying to not get my hopes up. I am not actually due for more than two weeks so we'll see.
Lots of pinchy cervix action and I am definately "lower" now. I feel like he is wriggling his way into position.

My belly button is still in! So, when it pops out, then it means the baby is "done?"

I went to the acupuncturist yesterday and she gave me me a "lets get things going" treatment. Had some intense contractions while I was there, and had more about an hour/hour-and-a-half later, but then they petered out.

My father showed up unannounced last night, apparently expecting to spend the night here (he has other options in the area, though)...and he had a cold to boot. I told him he couldn't stay, as we hadn't communicated about it and dh & I are trying to have some "it's not going to be just the two of us" alone time before baby comes. I felt kind of awful sending him off late-ish in the eve (was 930 or so), but I also felt I really *needed* to do it, and dh -- though he'd never say anything -- probably needed me to do it as well. It was a big step for me.

Despite "clearing the energy" in the apt, baby was unimpressed and is staying put in his/her cozy spot for now. Loose bms, some irregular contractions, but it just seems like more of the same.

Today is my edd : C'mon baby, we're all ready for you!

We had a crazy night here last night. It actually didn't get out of the 60's all day and isn't supposed to until next Tue or something. My h actually had a fire going in our wood stove for a bit; it was so cozy. It rained from about 6pm on and it's still raining this morning - I'm talking sheets of rain and thunder and lightning; it was awesome. This is Colorado - it doesn't rain like that here! Then, at about, well, I have no idea what ungodly hour it was, but we had a hailstorm and more thunderstorms. It's still raining now.

So between the crazy weather and the full moon tonight I'm expecting *something,* ANYTHING to happen. Please...? :

I feel like a lot of us have been waiting for this day! Whoo hoo, let em rip!

Babe is also rolling around a lot in the evenings (it's been a quiet pregnancy) I'm totally enjoying it! though sometimes s/he also ends the session laying posterior...

feeling crampy today, that's new.:

Like those weird turkey thermometers that pop out?!?

For the record, my belly button is still firmly an inny, and was for ds too. It never popped, but boy does it feel funny. My ds is big on buttons these days, and every time he pokes his chubby little finger into mine I can't help laughing, which makes him laugh... you get the picture, there's lots of belly button poking going on in this house!

Feeling good, nothing especially laborish, just really good.
