Wearing infant in Ergo

I just got my Ergo yesterday. Up until this point I have worn my baby in a sling; but for things like sweeping I need both arms. So, I put her in the Ergo using the infant insert in the cradle position reccomended in the DVD. The problem is her feet turned purple. Am I doing it wrong? She is 6 weeks and weighs about 10 lbs.

Also, I searched in here for Ergo posts and a few people mentioned putting their infants in the froggy position. For anyone who did that did you use the insert?

I had the same problem with my Ergo when I put my baby in the sideways position. Plus, my baby was positioned in a awkward manner. So, I e-mailed Ergo Europe and asked them how to use the insert for the spread-squat (Froggie legs) position. PM me your e-mail address and I can pass on their reply to you. I didn't have much success with this position but it may just be me. (My ds gets upset every time I put him in the Ergo in either position.)

IMO Ergo is not comfortable until the baby can spread the legs properly and sit in the carrier in a normal position.
