ok that cracked me up. I almost mentioned in my post that the Fairy was sorta, um, odd, but decided to not taint the results of my inquiry by inserting my opinion. Glad to see I wasn't the only one. However I still see value in the concept and think I could come up with my own fairy that ds would really like.

I do have a seventeen year old but he is rarely home between school and sports. I might try that though, he is going to be jobless once the pool closes. I have him do a couple of chores each day and he complains to his girlfriend that we mess up the house and he has to clean all day. I can't wait til he has his own place and has to wonder how it got messed up.

We do the occasional purge to keep things under control with the quantity of toys but I think we could do better with the "everything has a home" concept.

That's so funny! I guess the reason Ben's room doesn't bother me so much is that the mess is mostly legos and stuffed animals. It takes awhile to sort them out but the incentive for Ben is to have good floor space to play. Ben would rather have Ellie help than me
