pictures..lol took me 3 hours to birth his son...
its now 24hrs and he hasn't gotten them up...
men are inefficient

he's slept almost all day except to nurse...
so you know he's slept two hours tonight

but he's a champion nurser and I have milk real milk not colostrum I guess breastfeeding for five years my body might have skipped that stage? He's one lucky camper as the others starved a bit that first day or two..

Shiloh, I skipped colostrum with the twins too. It was bizarre.

I started pumping as soon as they were transferred to the NICU (about 2 hours after their birth) and immediately had liquid gold. It turned less yellowish and more blueish over the next few days, but it was definitely milk.

but a lovely gift! My milk is comming in MORE gangbusters..but I never had just colostrum even my midwife was so floored! I think I've nursed for so many years of my life I could wetnurse at the drop of a hat...I've got it perpetually on tap..

No name yet..and I am not stressed dh took his day off today to go to the hardware store and get manly stuff done..he's threatening to go back tomorrow...

we shall see about that.

Me I am in love with my new little man...
I sat for hours infront of the tv looking at him...dh walks in and says do you want the tv on? lol... I'd come down to nurse, watch a movie but there was a better show going on in my arms.
