Aw - that's awesome. My hubby is a "water cooler lactivist" as well as "home birth advocate". I swear - his co-workers are still asking him "So she's really going to just stay home and have the baby?"

Some won't ask him anymore because he gets going on his little soap box. Gotta love it!

When I teach my childbirth classes I have DH take the men out to talk with them about how they can help support their wives with bf'ing and post partum, etc.

Yes - I should add - both my father AND my father-in-law are supportive as well. I was a little nervous about a reaction the first time I nursed at my in-laws house and my father-in-law just brought me a pillow and said "I'm so glad you're feeding that baby the good stuff. That fake stuff is crap!" and then asked if I needed some juice or water!

No wonder my hubby is so awesome.

Go lactivist-Dad!

My DH constantly talks about how great breastfeeding, cosleeping, cloth diapers, and (in general) AP is. I love him!
