Nip finally

So three babies later I finally niped. I was the zoo with the kids and ds was totally in need of a feeding. Very quietly I started, noticed the poking and the the stares. Alright let it go. And then a chipmunk ran out from under my seat across my feet. Watch momma spring 50 feet in the air clinging babe in the arm trying not to give a peep show!!!!
Anyways, people you are at a zoo. lots of mommas animals nursing their young. Heck there may be more that there with some animals , me feeding my 9 month old is really no big deal. Thanks for letting me share!

Yay mom. I always see nursing moms at the zoo for some reason. Most babies are in slings too. You're right-all those other "mammas" are nursing thier babies too.
It will get easier, especially if you have a sling. Most people don't even realize I'm nursing. I try not to nip ds2 as he's not so little anymore, but he's almost always in a sling, so if he has to nurse, he's super tired and I can use the tail to shade his head and it covers the small amount of bare skin from my lifted top.

Go you! You are brave and bold but also a good mama to put your childn's need ahead of your anxiety.:
