How long labor was: Way too long. Pushed for 3 hours. Placenta took 2.5 hours to come out. But I did it all at home and she was born on my bed!

born at home -- 36 long hours of labor -- 7.5 hours of pushing -- 1.5 against cervix, and then 6+ hours to bring him down and out. whew!

SO in love with this baby boy!!

Our little son Sebastian was born on September 28 at 4:55 pm after just 15 hours of labor. He was 7 lbs. 15 oz. at birth and 21 inches long. We had a completely unmedicalized hospital birth, I labored at home and rushed to the hospital to have the baby a short two hours after arrival. Baby was born at 41wks 5days.

Sophie Grace was born 9/24/08 at 4:41 am.. measuring 18 inches long and 6 lbs 14 oz. She was born via C-section due to breech presentation with cord around her neck.. not quite the homebirth I wanted.. but she is here and healthy!

Any other details you want to add! Sebastien's head was turned with his little hand up by his face so it was a bit harder. Perineum was intact. He was born in the bathtub, with me in a wide squat, only a tiny tear from his little elbow on the side, no stitches....
The best part is he crawled to the breast, and self-attached in fifteen minutes!!!! Amazing home birth, of my first baby...
