Need ideas for a spa party without chemicals...

I posted this on the Green Living board, but then realized I might have better luck here...
My DD wants to have a spa party for her birthday and I need ideas for things that do not have chemicals. So much of the safe spa stuff is so expensive and we don't mind making our own, but I'm not sure where to start or what to do. Unfortunately, many of the girls are only familiar with all the chemical laden stuff they see at the mall, I really want this to be fun for them and for them to see it can also be done without the toxins and cancer causing chemicals.
Any ideas of how to pull this off would be appreciated!!! Thanks so much!!!

What is a spa party? Do you give yourselves facials or something or go to an actual spa to have treatments done?

There are lots of recipes for scrubs in the recipe sticky at the top of this forum. I've never been to a spa so I have no idea what kind of product you would need. Lotion? moisturizer?

LOL, I've never been to a spa either, but, apparently, it's popular with the girls her age. So, the plan is to have a few girls over and set up stations, one for facials, one for their nails, one for soaking their feet...etc. I figure I'll let them make some sort of bath salt or something to take home. I don't know...I've never done this so I'm making it up as I go.

for the face, avocado is GREAT, with just a touch of honey. its a lucious face mask. then cleanse with honey, and tone with witch hazel.
you can use coconut oil instead of lotion. and if you want to scent it with a drop of EO there are some lovely scents, like lavender, and sweet orange
there are nail polishes that are a bit better for you than OPI, etc. hang on, let me find DD1s to get the brand.... poop i cant find it... i am sure you can find some at a HFS near you in their welness dapt. a bottle or two in some fun shades should be fun for the girls.
also you could make bath bombs with baking soda, honey, EOs. etc. just google for a bath bomb recipe.
dd1 and i have spa night sometimes, do a nice bubble bath, then paint nails and toenails, lotion up with coconut oil, and braid our hair. tons of fun!!!!

CHI Nail Lacquer contains Nano Silver..kill microbes from what I understand.

How cool..can't wait till my little girl can have fun parties!

So do a facial station with the pp's avocado/honey mix (sounds wonderful!) do a hand/foot soak with just warm water and some yummy smelling oil...paint nails and do hair... there are some great salt/sugar scrubs out there too!

You might be able to find a cute pedicure set to give each girl as a party gift? little toe dividers and a file? maybe even make up some of the bombs for the foot soak and include one of those in the gift baggie??

HOW FUN!! can I come too!!
