Apparently it's because of the oregano.... so any recipe you can find with lots of that in it.

But I'm with you girl. 10 or 12 days over. Currently eating an entire pineapple.

Good luck. and this may be TMI but my water ended up breaking just as DP and I finished "relations". more like me doing it to him. Perhaps DTD might bring on labor too. It's worth a shot.

I know that golden seal helped me to get my contractions going... I was taking a full dropper every 15 min and I gave birth my baby 6 hours later... I did this when I was already somewhat dilated and contractions were not so close together, i wanted to keep them stronger and closer together. It worked

Ok...so I never did (yesterday) make the eggplant. I am contemplating take the 3 little ones (age 4, 2 1/2/ and 1) to go to the grocery store to buy the ingredients. To go to the grocery store being this pregnant with three little ones...is a hard thought! Does the oregano have to be fresh????

I was thinking of eating pineapple to get things going too, until my husband told me he read somewhere that I'd have to eat about 8 of them for it to do anything.

I like pineapple but maybe not that much.

It only calls for 1 teaspoon so I'm assuming dried. I can't imagine that's the labor inducer as it's a very little bit for a big dish of eggplant. That said I'm going to make the recipe because I eggplant Parmesan!

I was wondering the same thing about oregano. I sprinkled extra oregano on my leftover eggplant, but it was dried oregano.

Allright, my sauce is simmering and my eggplant resting. Anyone else made it? I'll report back tomorrow!
