Best Deals on Baby Wipes?

I feel like a grocery coupon expert-in-training, but I'm still having a hard time gettin good deals on diaper wipes. I have stepped away from CVS after realizing I was buying way too many items I just don't need (anyone need any Benefiber? ) but maybe I should step back in for wipes? Any good suggestions? TIA.

I started making my own cloth ones, but if I do buy them I usually go for the big generic box or Huggies at Sam's club. I haven't bought them in awhile, but I'm thinking they were $13 or $14 something for between 680 and 740 wipes. That's the best deal I've found so far. I don't ever bother w/ smaller amounts of wipes because I've got two in dipes and we go through wipes too quickly to buy anything other than bulk. HTH!

I mostly use baby washcloths with warm water - very affordable. For trips out and about I use the Kirkland brand, I think they really are the best and they are affordable but you have to buy them in bulk.

I cut up an old sheet and bought $10 worth of terry from Joann's. I made about 35+ wipes, which is about enough. I also made some with flannel receiving blankets. I make them a little larger than 8x8 to account for my seams and messy sewing. They fold in half and go in the container. Then I pour water with Tree Tea Oil and Lavender in it.

I throw them in a little bucket after they're used. I wash them with my cloth diapers, but they could be washed alone or with towels.

You could add some Bac-Out (by bio-kleen) if you're worried about germs to the wash cycle.

So cheap!!!!

Cloth wipes. You can make them out of any old sheets or similar.

I use cloth wipes now but there was a period where I just washed (don't dry!) the disposable ones and reused them. They lasted a long time. But you have to buy the cheaper offbrand ones otherwise they fall apart. Wipe solution was just a bunch of water in a peri bottle with a tiny squirt of soap and some form of oil. I used baby shampoo and Burts Bees Apricot Baby Oil for mine.

go to every diaper website, pampers, luvs, huggies and register, they will send and email you coupons, more then you will know what to do with.
It takes time to build a good coupon and diaper/wipe stockpile, just be patient. If you are doing coupons then buying jumbo packs isnt going to be cost effective...
My ideal price after coupons is $1 for a regular size pack/box. (and i have about 40 boxes at this price in my stock and im running 'low')

It's much, much cheaper (and better for your baby & the environment) to make your own. Just pick up a pack of baby washcloths and use warm water on them.

if you have the $3 off 2 cleanteam you can get two packets for about 30 cents.
Get the 42 count refill of the flushables.
I went,got twenty packs and spent $2.30.

I also bought thru the kissaluvs outlet 50 wipes for $24. I bought them over 2 years ago and they are still going strong. Some are a bit stained and DH has swiped the nasty of the stained ones for other projects but they are the best for wiping a nasty bottom and then washing with the rest of the soiled diapers.

I use cloth wipes. You can just wash them with the towels if you don't use cloth diapers. I keep them in a disposable wipes container and make my own wipe solution. I put warm water in the sink, add a little earth's best baby wash, and a little olive oil to soften the wipes. Then I soak the wipes, wring them out and put them into the disposable container so they are ready to go when I need them.

If you don't want to do reusable wipes you can get good deals on disposables at CVS. My sister got 2 mega packs of CVS diapers and 2 tubs of wipes for $9 a few weeks back after factoring in the $5 in extra bucks she got. They go on sale every few weeks.

Walgreens had cases of their generic wipes on clearance for $5.99. (I think they are changing the packaging.) YMMV on finding them, since they were marked down late last month.

I'm another lover of cloth wipes. My friend Rachel owns www.twolittlewhales.com, and I get my solution from her. If I ever run out, though, I just use a little bit of scented oil (like lavender) with a bit of baby shampoo and water.

Hmmmmmm....we do cloth diaper. We've been using strictly FuzziBunz for over a year, but I never made the jump into wipes. I'm all for it, I just have this weird feeling that DH will be a hard sell. I'll have to look for some of that solution /thanks! / and then just get some coupons in the meantime, cuz I'm kind of a coupon junkie anyways. But if so many mamas here use cloth wipes I guess it can't be that bad...right?

Its not bad at all, just toss them in with the diaper wash. My DH was against them until I started pre-moistening them and putting them in the sisposable wipes tub. Now he uses them all the time. Making your own solution is soooo easy. You just need a soap and an oil and water. You can use baby wash/dr bronners/ a gentle liquid soap with either baby oil, olive oil, almond oil, or any other baby-friendly oil. Some people even add essential oils but that gave my DS2 a nasty rash. DS1 was fine with one drop of lavendar mixed in.

Approx. how many wafers do you receive? I didn't see it on the site.

I looked at her site and loved it. I was using Booty Cubes, but the site has been down for.ev.er! Do you throw out the solution after a few days, like the website suggests??

yep, At Walmart there $1.64 for a 40 ct pack of clean team wipes, get 20 $3/2 coupons off ebay for like $3 and you end up getting them for .14 cents a pack.

Target periodically has a $3 off any 2 Huggies store coupon (which could be combined with manu coupons). I mostly use cloth, but I ended up with a lot of wipes last time (it was in March if IRC) for free or close to it (you could only use one Target coupon per transaction). I wouldn't be suprised if they ran it again in Sept or Oct.
