I had a long and difficult VBAC 2 years ago, I pushed hard for 8 hours and I know I wasn't fully dilated when my body started pushing but I could not do anything about it.
I know from TTC what my cervix used to be like through my cycle. It is completely different now.
Instead of being rounded it is like a flat circle if that makes sense. So like a rounded rectangle. On the left side there is a very hard place where there is no "mound" it's like there's no cervix there. It's like that portion of the circle just goes off on line with the pelvic floor, if that makes sense. The whole cervix is hard throughout the month, although it does move up and down and slightly open and close somewhat as before.
I had extensive tearing all along my left side and I'm wondering if this could have extended into my cervix. Is that what it would feel like if the cervix was torn at one point or is it normal for it to be lopsided after a vaginal birth?
I had scar tissue from a biopsy which is one of the reasons I think my labors are pure hell, so if this was scar tissue or a tear, what would that mean for future pregnancies/births?
