Ella Grace arrived 8/15/08 weighing 7lbs 14 1/2 oz, 21" long.

We had a hospital birth and it was all natural (no meds from start to finish, including post partum) we arrived at the hospital at 10 am. I was 7 cm dilated upon arrival and it took until 1pm to get to 9cm, but the water never broke. So at one they ruptured the membranes and Ellla arrived at 1:30.

The birth center was fantastic, it was just my DH, the midwife and a nurse for the delivery. They placed Ella directly on me immediately after delivery, she nursed like a champ and is doing wonderfully. It was a great birth and a terrific experience!

Everyone is home now and big sister is so very proud!
