pepper plants flowering but no peppers?

My pepper plants have grown nicely about 15" tall and are constantly full of flowers but I have only gotten 1 pepper. I have bell peppers, pablano, and jalapenos planted.

What is wrong here?

Not enough sun? We planted some peppers, optimistically, in our shady yard. They flowered but never grew peppers. Not surprising. If it's not that, I'm not sure what it could be. I'm a novice!

Are they getting pollinated? I have a paprika that was flowering nicely in the house, but dropping the flowers. I tried shaking it to pollenate but apparently it didn't work. I put it in the greenhouse where there are tons of bugs hanging out, and right away it started growing peppers.

My pepper plants weren't doing anything until I heard this trick. I have no idea why it works but my plants shot up and have been loaded with peppers ever since. Put a stick match or two in the ground by the stem of your plant. And water alot.

I think that they get enough sun, there are bees all around the garden so I dont think that those are it. I also tried to hand pollenate as I did with my corn but to no avail.

I will have to try the match sticks I have some in with my camping gear, I'll have to pull them out.

Any other suggestions wold be welcome!!

It really depends.
If you use a high nitrogen fertilizer, or fertilize too often, you'll get a wonderfully bushy plant, but peppers.
If you're in a cold climate (or at least one this year), the peppers never get hot enough. You can try making mini hot-houses out of stakes and plastic.

I've never heard the match trick, but I'm going to give it a try. I makes sense though. Matches are high in sulfer and posphorus which are necessary for good flowering and fruit production. Thanks!
