Freezing Tomato Sauces

Thread Starter
Our CSA finally has unlimited tomatoes this week, yeah! We have a lot of freezer space and I wanted to make sauces and salsas and freeze them. Are their special freezer boxes to use and where do I get them? I have heard that you can freeze it in ziploc freezer bags, but that seems kind of messy and I wonder about the plastic when thawing. We are limited on our pantry space for canning.
Also, does anybody have a favorite recipe to share?

You can get plastic ziploc freezer bags that are PVC and plasticizer free from Natural Value in many health food stores. I'd prob freeze in canning jars tho and just leave some head room for expansion so your jars don't break.
