I totally agree with you... having a date to shoot for is great and all, but how often does it actually happen then? Then there are the people who don't even pay attention to your due date... I got an email last week (I'm not due until this Sat.) saying "where's the baby??" Um, in my belly? At least wait until I'm overdue to start the inquisition! Then I can stop answering calls and checking emails!

I had my midwife check me today, and I'm about 3cm and soft. She said the head is way down, and the bag is starting to bulge a bit in front of it. I had never heard of this happening, but I guess it's a good thing! She tried to "stir things up a bit" while she was down there, so here I wait..........:

add my toddler to the list of acting weired he self weaned last month and all the sudden he is asking for boobies again and getting all excited when i take off my shirt but i just tell him sorry baby boobies hurt but u can touch and i will just hold him and he will touch and rub for extra comfort

but he is waking up in the middle of the night to be held and wanting to touch boobies which he never does well not the holding part he would get mad if i touched him at night and tell me to move lol but last night it was me going baby move mommy is going to fall off the bed lol

today iam 39 weeks pregnant and still loving it the only part i dont like is the waiting part waiting to meet my little guy waiting for labor just waiting that part drives me nuts lol

iam a plainner and i want to know when this guy is comming soo i can make sure my house is clean my son is taken care of BIL is ready to for him u know that type of stuff lol but nope i get to wait and have everyone ask when is the baby comming lol

Being induced tomorrow, 6am for lots of reasons as of Monday, my last appointment...

sick of going to the doc every other day so I am glad tomorrow is my last day there...well and thursday but at least it's not wasted gas..

wish me luck :/

I am so relieved- no school for two days because of the impending hurricane.I hope we don't get hit very hard but I REALLY didn't want to work, I just don't feel up to it.:::

I was working before I had dd, over here they MAKE you stop working 3 weeks before your edd. I felt great right up until transition labor(lol). Anyways, I went 10 days over so I basically got cheated out of 3 weeks of mamma perm. : in the long run that's peanuts (we get 30-40 weeks off, paid) but hated having to sit around for 4 weeks doing nothing but wait because, well, just because that's the "rules"... this time around I'm working freelance, so I get to decide

I tried not telling anyone the edd, just "oh, mid to end of August" and it still doesn't work. People are texting me and asking even though they don't know the exact edd... I understand they're happy/curious.
I'm thinking for my own sanity I'd like to never know my edd lol

Just thought I would share this with you all because I found it amusing. Today, my mw said that his head is very low. She said any lower, and he would be breathing air!

She is expecting a very quick labor and delivery since he is so low and this is my third in three years. She didn't check me, and the last time I was checked was at the hosptial a few weeks ago when I was 90% efaced and dialated to 3cm. I have had another round of intense contractions that lasted four hours the other night, which she is certain probably changed my cervix even more. So, she is staying at her clinic this week because it is much closer to my house than her own home is.
