Just wanted to share a story because I am so proud of my mom 
On The weekend my mom, her two sisters, her one sister's daughter and a friend of the daughter were getting there hair done at my mom's house. The friend had her 3 month old baby there, she is nursing the baby
: but had some questions like if she should be giving the baby water. My Aunts were saying " oh yeah, you need to give the baby water" and mt mom who never really was supported when my sister and I were born and tried but was not successful in nursing us says "No you do not need to give a nursing baby water, BM is all trhe baby needs, if it is hot offer her the breast more. If you give her water she will fill up on water and not nurse and not get the nutrients from BM" I was so proud of my mom, she is a lactivist nana 
The mother of the baby also said her mom told her to feed the baby pablum because the baby was always nursing and my mom told her not to give her any solids till at least 6 mons and that it was good that the baby was nursing so well. She then went on to tell her all about me and DS I gave my mom my copy of "The womenly art of Breastfeeding" to give to her as there is no LLL in the area they live.
