Have you tried the free chloe toes pattern?

What did you think of the free chloe toes cover pattern? I am thinking of trying it, just wondering if it's worth it. I've heard good things about the darling diapers patterns, but I'm dragging my feet spending the money on the patterns. I know there are tons of free patterns, I am totally overwhelmed by all the choices. I'm looking for something simple and fairly easy, any ideas?
Thanks

Hm, the free chloe toes? I used it once, to be honest, I didn't care for it. It was soooo big. And when i tried to size it down, it was too short in the rise. I later learned that it's supposed to have a blousy looser fit, and that just wasn't working on my monkey boy who is kinda small and thin. If you have a chunkier baby, maybe it would be ok for you? It's always worth a try if you really think it would work for you.

I think the paid chloe toes pattern is better, I've more heard good things about it, but I haven't tried it myself.

What type of covers are you looking to make? PUL? Wool or fleece? Wrap style or pull up style? How old is your babe? Is he/she chunky or kinda thin?

I've tried it...it seems to run WAY big and the front wings are too long. I actually traced one of my PUL covers, and sort of patched together a similar pattern that's part Chloe Toes and part of another free AIO pattern That cover turned out a lot better.

thanks guys, I'm not really sure what I'm trying to make anymore, I've got so many different little projects going. I have some PUL and some fleece and elastic. There are so many patterns out there, I'm just looking for a good basic one..
Thanks again
