Castile Soap

Thread Starter
I noticed that Dr. Broner's is very popular, however there are other companies that sell pure - only olive oil castile soap. They write that it's better than one mixed with other oils.
I'm new to this, and have never bought castile soap before. I would like to get one for my cleaning stuff.
I don't think my DH is ready to use home-made soap or shampoo yet, so I got Kabasana soap, and need to figure out which shampoo. There are so many companies...

So what is the difference between one castile soap and another?
Thanks,
Ana - who's starting to go green.

I think the main appeal with Dr. Bronners is that it's organic and fair trade certified. We've been using the knock-off Trader Joe's version and it works great. The only thing is that it only comes in peppermint and Dr. Bronners comes in all kinds of scents including unscented.

They're all mixed with other oils (like hemp, tea tree, peppermint) except for the unscented. I've never heard that this is a bad thing or that it hinders the cleaning properties.
