Just wondering how people who follow a Traditional Foods diet feel about their weight.

My weight is considered normal for my height/build, but of course there are always those 10 vanity pounds I want to lose.

Although, my extra weight comes from too many non-traditional carbs!

For ME I'm just right but according the BMI calculators I'm a bit underweight.

Edited to add- 5'8" 120lbs not pregnant. So far I am 126.

Glad to see I am not the only one with a problem with non-traditional carbs

I am a healthy weight but I am carrying around an extra 10lbs of icecream from my holiday that I need to lose to make my clothes truely comfortable.

I voted "a bit overweight" too, although that's deceptive since my weight is actually fine if you look at charts. I just like my body proportions better when I'm 5 or 10 lbs. lighter than I am right now. I think I'm a healthy weight and I feel good physically, but vanity is an issue for me also. I'd say "just right" if I could redistribute things a bit. Maybe you could add a category for those of us who answered this way , like "just right but too vain to accept it". BTW, this hasn't really changed for me with eating TF-style. I have much better muscle tone now than I did when I ate closer to SAD (which was a long time ago), or whole-foods organic but much lower protein and fat than now, or veg*n, but that might be because I do a lot more physical work now than I used to. The 5 or 10 lbs. I'd like to lose is left over from my last pregnancy, and I know it would go away if I just cut back on snacking, but I find it hard to give the kids snacks without having a nibble myself. This all makes me feel like such a cliche.

I think I'm just right now with a +15 lb gain from pregnancy, but, I'm used to being a bit underweight so I may try to lose after I'm done BFing.

I am breastfeeding, and I think I am fine, but I am smaller than I have been in years. I eat a ton of TF's and I can't seem to gain more weight.

I voted a bit overweight - but it's from not losing all the baby weight. I've finally started losing again on TF.

I am curious about BMI. I am in the charts for my height/weight, but my body fat % is so high that I'm considered "obese". I don't understand how someone who wears a size 6 and is 5'3" can be considered obese, but I am. Just when I finally thought I was starting to look good again.

I just need to continue with our move and forget to eat snacks or homeade treats and burn off what I have leftover from baby.

If I can beat this last bit of weight I will feel so much better. I know part of it is my thyroid, so I have to be consistent with taking things that supplement that. I do feel like I lost a bit since we moved recently, and clothes fit loser/are too big now, but I want to wear my old clothes that I love and just not worry about it anymore.

I am nursing too and have lost most of my baby weight by just cutting back a bit. It has not affected my supply, but having said that I do feel hungry most of the time.

I voted a bit overweight, because I am carrying some baby weight still. I think it will come off pretty easily over the next year. At least, I hope it does... it always has in the past...
I am at that phase of nursing where my babe is one year and the weight starts melting off me faster than I can shovel in food, so I am underweight.

Plus my appetite is low, so it's hard to eat til I'm starving. I actually posted about this a while back (to no response, lol, it's weird how wanting to lose gets support but wanting to gain... not so much!)

I'm a bit over weight, but I'm not basing that on my BMI or anything like that. I'm more over my comfort weight because I am still carrying baby gain. I consider that to be healthy though. If I was this size with no newborn I'd say I was doing something wrong.

I swear that if I could avoid office parties, friend's homes and restaurants for a month I'd lose at least 15 lbs.

I'm underweight, but that came before I started the TF diet. I haven't gained anything on TF, though.
