Lee I couldn't care less, either. But our baby is coming at a very busy time in our year... My FIL and nephew have late March birthdays, then in April it's our baby's EDD, then my aunt's, father's, and DH's birthdays followed by our wedding anniversary. Whew!

Sounds like you have a great excuse to get out of any party planning that might need to be done next year.

Blah, woke up too late for baby-makin'. This is just not my month.

ETA: Fertility Friend is so inaccurate sometimes! I just had to add two extra temperatures (on two days that I couldn't temp because I was in Jacksonville...well, I did temp, but they were super high because I couldn't sleep at all...) in order to make it NOT give me crosshairs on CD14. I have totally not ovulated yet. I am so glad I've been a paper charter for years. Stupid FF.

Yea!!

And may I respectfully suggest you put the OPKs away now? Honestly, I think you'll be able to destress a bit about it if you're not getting potentially conflicting results anymore. Well, until it's time to start stressing about when to take a pregnancy test.

ok so do the temps keep going up and up if you're pg ? (i know some peeps go down a little then go up and then down a bit and then up up up..)

eventually they go down ...I mean we don't have 9 month pg women out there walking around with fevers...baby fever, maybe, but not like sick fever...

anyway if you temps are going up does that mean nothing because they are always high during LP

I hear ya. I'm frustrated with BBT in general right now. It seems that I screw up my temp almost every single night. I'm pretty sure I O'd on CD15 but I'm getting nothing from FF.

Do you think it matters if we didn't DTD on CD 16? I had EWCM but not + on the OPK. We were both so exhausted we just couldn't do it. I hope we didn't miss our window.

Not an expert, but I think that as long as your temps just stay above the coverline during the LP, it's all good. Now, some women do get triphasic charts - where there's a second "jump" in the temperature pattern - and that often indicates pregnancy but doesn't always. The cycle I got pregnant my chart was triphasic, but the temps didn't jump to that third level 'til like 10 or 12 DPO I think.

I bet you did O on CD 15 or 16. Don't forget, FF wants 3 high temps before they give you coverlines (I think). And as long as y'all had sex on either CD 14 and/or 15, I bet you're fine.

Woo Hoo!! I got dotted crosshairs!! :
ok so lets hope it stays above the coverline...
but sometimes it seems that FF is obsessed with sayin you O'd around cd14...it's like haven't we seen enough charts to know it could be ANYWHERE? but ol' FF is like "no you O'd on the 14th! and thats final!"

wth?

I never liked FF. I used Ovusoft and it ALWAYS jived with my own interpretation, though FF is free and I paid for Ovusoft.... but we were CTA for over 4 years and I plan to use it again PP, so it was a good investment. I think the problem with FF is it's based on TTC and so doesn't have to be as accurate as when you're CTA. It seems to disregard FAM rules randomly. It doesn't help either that when TTC you analyze each and every day! Charting tends to be a big picture kind of thing, it always makes more sense at the end of a cycle.

Really? How much? I can't remember exactly, but I think Ovusoft was a one time $50 or something. Then you have the software on your computer forever. Eh, it was just my preference... but Ovusoft does have a 15 day free trial if anyone's interested- but with only 15 days you don't get a whole cycle! It was enough for this long time charter to know she liked what she saw though.
it was like 45 bucks for ...wait for it.....90 days!
that is so you can have the VIP package. which predicts when you're gonna be ovulating next and af....

but I think they prolly all do that so maybe I am a sucker...

anyway today is a VERY strange day I have felt nausea from when I woke up till now...the only time I am not feeling it is when I am eating...and ol' mother hubbards cupboard is BARE! so i have had yogurt, potato chips and salsa greenbeans and corn....

it's like I raided the fridge at a senile old mans house...

and so I browsed the section of Pos H PT on FF and some knew (bfp) as early as 6 days!!!! (dpo, of course) the only ones I have need to have first mornings urine so I am temped to go get a first response at walgreens and possibly surprise DH because he's at an ART show and won't be back for a while....

or should I just test tomorrow?

How is everyone doing this morning?

I ovulated on Saturday, so I'm in the TWW, but I have no hope at all for this cycle. We just weren't into it this month, and I really think it's partly because of the whole "don't want a baby born in June" thing. : I'm pretty annoyed about it, but what can I do...it's too late now.

I guess we'll just find out in two weeks. I'll be testing on the 28th if my temp is still up.

Thinking about you all!!
does your regular temp during the day tell you anything? I don't feel sick but I tested this morning and had a normal high temp for after O, but when I got home from work today I was just laying around and decided to see what my temperature was and it was 99.5. Are temps just normally high after ovulation?
