Truck themed gifts for baby? Ideas?

SIL's having a boy! He's due in December. I want to make a quilt and asked if she had a theme/color picked out, and she replied that she is doing trucks and blue. Excellent.

So I have some really nice construction truck fabric with a blue background, etc. That'll be nice for a quilt, maybe a pillow. I also found embroidery designs for construction vehicles that I can make 4x4 squares with that I might use to make cloth blocks.

What else in this truck theme can I make for baby? I don't want to overwhelm her with toys and stuffed animals, because she doesn't have a lot of room. What would a new mama want? A changing pad?

Thanks in advance!

Something that I used a lot when my kids were smaller was a small quilted blanket (like 24x36") that I kept in the car and used to change the baby when we were out and about. Actually, I still have that blanket in my car even though younger DS was potty trained 1.5 years ago! I still use it for stuff. It was a great size. It has an eye-spy sort of pattern on it, so that made it fun too.

Ds has a couple small blankets like that too in the car. He likes to play with them, I tuck them around him when it's really cold. I tuck them around his legs in the stroller when it's cold too. They are still handy and he's 2.

bib, shirt, diaper cover, change pad, wet bag, one of those hanging mobile. what about a wall hanging to match the other gifts you are giving.

Burp towels! Cotton truck-themed fabric on one side, and coordinating solid-colored flannel on the other. Easy peasy!
