Another boo hoo poor me moment

I want a snack. And there is nothing I can snack on. And we are terribly broke this month (every month, but more so this month) and I dont have any grocery money left, so there is no buying anything.

I'm feeling the exact same way. I feel like my hunger is going to make me pass out and all I have are these stupid rice cakes. And to make matters worse, my fridge is full of food, but I can't eat ANY of it. And DD is still not 100% better, which makes it even harder to stick to the diet when I'm feeling like "what good is it doing?!"
ugh, anyways, I feel you mama I hope you can find something good to snack on soon....

What's in your pantry? Maybe we can brainstorm some ideas!

peanut butter and dried beans. All I see is the peanut butter.

I love peanut butter on rice cakes. But I'm one of the rare ones that actually likes rice cakes, and we can only have the lightly salted ones anyway. Can you have honey on rice cakes? Dried beans don't sound very exciting but if that's all that's in the pantry, cook 'em up!

Turn away from the pantry. . . besides, you don't want that nasty peanut butter. Ewwww. . .

Get those beans in some water to soak tonight so you can cook 'em up tomorrow! So yummy with rice!

if you have any sunflower seeds, throw them in the grinder (if seeds are ok!); it tastes better than peanut butter anyhow!! especially on a rice cracker! and soak those garbonzos for some yummy hummus!!

i feel your pain as well...
