The Eggplant Parm Worked!

Made it yesterday (felt leaky and lots of BH contractions while making it), ate it for dinner. Went into labor at 3:30am, wee boy born at home at 7:04am.

DH just sat down at the computer and MDC was on the screen. He noticed the title of this thread, and he asked me about it. I told him about how eggplant parm is supposed to induce labor. He immediately called our local Italian restaurant and he is on his way to pick up an order!!!! Guess he is a bit excited about meeting the newest addition!

DH got home with dinner at 5:30 last night, and cntx started at 7:30. Heavy cntx started at 12:00 a.m. and I delivered at 4:20 a.m.!

Dude...I need to go eat some Eggplant Parm. Will any kind work from any Italian place? I suck at cooking, I don't really want to make it!

Rach03 -- there's nothing special about the recipe so I imagine any type would be fine. Good luck.

Thanks! We are planting eggplant in the garden next year and we will make the parm for his first birthday!

I swear pretty soon I'd eat a pound of it if it : would help lol I've got a cold and feel sort of miserable.
